Prof. Yuan, is the founder and head of the Mobile Telecommunications group at ITN-LiU. His research interests revolve around performance engineering and scalability of heterogenous networks. He served as the initial project coordinator for SOrBet till the last quarter of Y1.
Vangelis Angelakis, LiU
Vangelis, is an assistant professor at ITN-LiU working with the Mobile Telecommunications group. His focus is on the robustness and reliability aspects of IoT networking and architectures. He is currently the SOrBet coordinator.
Nikolaos Pappas, LiU
Is a postdoctoral research fellow, recruited within SOrBet at ITN-LIU.
His research focuses on performance analysis and engineering of cognitive, opportunistic and cooperative wireless communications and networks.
Lei Lei, LiU
Lei is a PhD student at ITN-LiU with a solid background in network modeling and optimization.
Elias Tragos, FORTH
Dr. Elias Tragos is a researcher at FORTH working in the Telecommunications and Networks Laboratory of the Institute of Computer science. His interests are in the areas of wireless networks, resource management optimization and reliability on the Internet of Things. The is currently the SiC of FORTH for the SOrBet project.
Apostolos Traganitis, FORTH
Prof. Apostolos Traganitis is the head of the Telecommunications and Networks Laboratory of the Institute of Computer science and a professor at the University of Crete. His research interests are in the areas of information theory, wireless networking, cognitive radios and e-health.
Stefanos Papadakis, FORTH
Dr Stefanos Papadakis is a R&D Engineer at FORTH working in the Telecommunications and Networks Laboratory of the Institute of Computer science. His research interests include position location techniques in wireless networks, radio propagation modeling, wireless network planning and FPGA-based hardware accelerated networking.
Alexandros Fragkiadakis, FORTH
Dr Alexandros Fragkiadakis is a researcher at FORTH working in the Telecommunications and Networks Laboratory of the Institute of Computer science. His research interests include intrusion detection and security in wireless networks, re-programmable devices, open source architectures, cognitive radio networks and Internet of Things.
Manolis Surligas, FORTH
Manolis Surligas is a junior researcher at FORTH working in the Telecommunications and Networks Laboratory of the Institute of Computer science. His research interests include software defined radios and Internet of Things.
Sofoklis Kyriazakos, CONVERGE
Sofoklis is the Managing Director of Convege SA and has a strong scientific background. He is at the same time appointed as Associate Professor in the University of Aalborg in Denmark. In SORBET, he is leading the team of the company and he supports the management of the project.
Magda Foti, CONVERGE
Magda is an experienced researcher and is supporting the R&D activities of Converge since 2011. Her expertise is in the area of AI and Machine Learning, while on the same time she has strong involvement in intelligent BMS systems and cloud infrastructures.
George Labropoulos, CONVERGE
George is the Technical Director of Converge and has an experience of 30 years in the field of ICT. Throughout these years he has had research, teaching, training and consulting experience.
Stelios Pournaras, CONVERGE
Stelios is a young researcher with studies in Information Technologies and working in experience in Greece and the United States.
Silvia Dwomoh, CONVERGE
Silvia is a skilled web-designer, who has been involved in the development of the site, as well as the dissemination and administration activities on behalf of Converge.
Niki Kai, CONVERGE
Niki has experience in web applications, with emphasis on Information Architecture, usability and User Experience (UX). Niki will mainly work on WP3 to support the design of applications for the SORBET platform, that cover the defined use cases.
